Walks
Walking is an important part of my art practice. As a way of connecting with place, people and physical experience, I invite others to participate in walking with me as a shared creative process. This creative practice is accessible in ways that opens creativity to anybody willing to participate.

Photographs
The photographs I do tie together the interests I pursue in the walks, sculpture and murals. The photographs are a way of exploring visually: the parts of a walk that catch my glance, materials that become a sculptural statement or elements of the environment that point to something happening in the community space.

Murals
A community centered art practice, the mural making I do is always intent on making the space people navigate more engaging. Currently I am working on murals that change – becoming an extended performance of painting. I evolve the mural over an extended period of time, free to change any and all elements with the interest of creating a new experience for community members.

Sculpture
This is the art making practice that I have the most history with. The objects that I make are simple in material and form, inviting others to appreciate the unpretentious qualities of our material experience

Experimental drawing
These are pieces that seek to pull the process of drawing away from need-for-skill in favor of simply making marks with intention or marks that record an event. Drawing as a catalyst for thought and observation can create a freedom unequaled by most processes. This is probably why children find it so easy to pick-up a pencil and draw what they desire. As a workshopped process, seeking to make “bad drawing” can be a great way for creatively-hesitant individuals to create without fear.
